But illegals can come into this country and get thousands of dollars, snap, free medical care, and housing. Seniors can barely pay rent/or taxes on their home.

The only reason for knucklehead laws like this is allow fraud in elections. Anyone interacting with the government (DMV, welfare, SNAP, housing, etc.) is registered to vote, no auditing for removal of ineligible voters, mail ballots to everyone, no voter ID, no poll watchers..
