i was able to better the #1trc @clickhousedb benchmark using @googlecloud c4a instances. github.com/ClickHouse/1trc/p… it crunched 1 trillions rows about 21% faster (only 141 seconds!) and cost a penny less. #clickhouse @dalemcdiarmid @gunnarmorling

a few weeks ago @amd @aiatamd started a repo on github aiming to port nvidia's cuda tools to rocm one at a time, eliminating nvidia's moat.
