Medinah #3 played remarkably this week! Huge props to the club for having the courage to hire OCM and take that step. The routing decisions made by the tour, however, were absolutely foolish. These critical matches coming down 16, 17, 18 should have been played here.

I’d take it a step further, TC, bring in Gerard, McNealy, Spaun - fill the room with guys who want to compete and would kill to be there, and get rid of all the captain impressionists who never had a freaking clue how to actually win these team events in the first place.

I enjoy @chambleebrandel and have great respect for his preparation and research, but I've always thought it’s funny that he praises courses and eras that embraced narrow fairways and long rough, yet doesn’t have a problem with the equipment innovations that make them obsolete.
