Just watched @dougsillars explain Bittensor Conviction. This is meant to prevent another Sam Dare situation. Conviction auto-locks newly-emitted subnet owner tokens. 21 days to unlock. Everyone can see it coming. No rug pull possible now. If you unlock, you decrease your Conviction. Whoever has the MOST Conviction is the Subnet King. This mean NOTHING right now, it is NOT ownership of the subnet. It MIGHT be later, but not now. So a 'hostile takeover' of a subnet is not possible (right now). To me, 21 day unlock is THE most important thing here. Subnet owners cannot blitz-raid their own liquidity pool now. I am hearing this goes live May 13 (unconfirmed).
