First step towards making money from my product before launch
Since Coldpitch is made for marketing agencies and I don't run one myself, I need to find 3-5 agencies that can close the deals I find
Contacted everyone I know
Now waiting them until tomorrow to get as many responses as possible
One important thing I learned about product launches
Every launch should have a story behind it
Nobody cares if you launch your product into the void, hundreds of people do it every day
Instead, give your launch some background:
> Prove your product works (make money, leads, etc. using your product)
> Show how you fixed your own problem
> Fill your waitlist
> Raise money
> Build the entire thing in public
It makes noise around your product since day 0 and really helps with the first users
This is why I'm challenging myself to make at least $10k using Coldpitch before launch

One of Coldpitch best features I'm very proud of...
It scans the accounts you've added for posts flagged as paid promotions
Most ofter, that's a clear marketing signal that the project has a budget and is ready to spend it right now
This is the most flexible module I've ever built
You can literally track an account in any niche, and it will work just as well in all of them

This is how NOT to do cold outreach
1) I've never talked to this guy, and he's starting his message with "long time no speak" - you can tell it's a bot from the 1st line
2) This guy said I'm focusing on TikTok marketing, but I don't even have TikTok
My cold DMs never looked like this because I'm building Coldpitch around the following flow:
> Spot the problem
> Offer the solution
That's it. This is why my cold DMs have a higher chance of success
Sending a cold DM puts you in a position of distruct from the start, so you can't afford to mistakes

Continuing the topic of what's better: GPT or Claude
This spring, we participated in a cybersecurity competition, and my whole team used Codex
It was GPT-5.4 because 5.5 kept flagging chats as a cybersecurity risk
We finished 7th (among 300+ teams), or 5th after disqualifications
And all of our tasks were solved through Codex
At the beginning, I tried to using Claude, but it barely solved the easiest task and couldn't try different approached autonomously
GPT has always been smarter, but Claude used to win because of its attention to detail. It's gone now

As launch day gets closer, I started working on SEO by creating guide pages around cold outreach topics

My biggest lesson in 3 years of building a personal brand is to network as much as possible
- Every viral launch has a huge support and a lot of work behind it
- Creating content when you have an audience is psychologically much easier
- In 1 to 1 conversations you can learn things that would never be made in public
