Neutron is back online and Astroport's affected contracts are restored. Recovered funds are safe in a community multisig and will be properly allocated in the coming days.
Until then, please don't interact with the affected pools or unstake xASTRO. Both are paused in the app.
The Neutron mainnet has successfully been restarted and is producing blocks again.
The recovery restored affected contracts, secured contained funds in a community-controlled multisig, removed the attack-linked voting power, locked the linked accounts, and restricted staking and governance attack paths.
We’re continuing to monitor the network and digest the incident. A detailed post-mortem will be published early next week.

At 07:34 UTC today, I received a message from @0xphilipp and @MB_Aejir indicating that an exploit might have happened on Neutron.
I notified @crypto_crew and Neutron vals to investigate. By 07:37 UTC, Neutron had halted.
Here is a summary of the incident response so far.
An attack was conducted against @astroport_fi on Neutron. Chain was halted to prevent further harm.
The community is leading an investigation into what happened + establish further mitigation. Will share more details once we have full clarity.

DVT works brilliantly on @ethereum as the SDVT module experiment on @LidoFinance has shown.
One thing that gets overlooked in the Lido SDVT story: many operators were effectively running at a loss for ~2 years.
Staking economics deteriorated, Lido lost market share, and yet the allocation caps remained heavily skewed toward the Curated Module rather than meaningfully shifting stake toward SDVT.
DVT operators were asked to provide decentralization, redundancy and operational excellence - but the economics often didn't support the operators providing it.
Two years ago, @LidoFinance committed to distributed validators to strengthen Ethereum's decentralization without compromising performance.
Simple DVT delivered by beating the network average with zero correlated failures.
Obol now recommends expanding DVT across the entire Lido protocol.
