last time i wrote general stuff about
@kaio_xyz $KAIO (link below)
today, i want to dig into CASH, SCOPE, VOLT, MACRO
here's all the details you need in a go:
β’ β’ β’ CASH β’ β’ β’
minimum investment > $100
TVL > $43M
liquidity* > daily
*liquidity here means how often can investors redeem/sell their fund position (dialy or monthly)
CASH is KAIO's tokenized access wrapper around BlackRock's ICS US Dollar Liquidity Fund
and this is a USD money market fund focused on high-quality short-term fixed income & liquidity
i) CASH gives onchain access to a
$KAIO that holds shares in the BlackRock ICS US Dollar Liquidity Fund
ii) the point of CASH is secure, low-volatility digital exposure w/ programmability, composability & treasury use onchain
iii) important detail: the tokenized shares are issued by KAIO, & BlackRock says they are not sponsored, endorsed, authorized, or approved by BlackRock
β’ β’ β’ SCOPE β’ β’ β’
minimum investment > $10,000
TVL > $14.7M
liquidity > monthly
i) SCOPE is the
@hamilton_lane Senior Credit Opportunities Fund, it's focused on senior secured private credit investments, w/ downside protection & yield as the stated target
ii) the strategy targets floating-rate, senior secured loans, usually in the safer part of a company's capital structure, w/ a focus on downside protection & yield
β’ β’ β’ VOLT β’ β’ β’
*fyi, prev. named Carry
minimum investment > $10,00
TVL > $21.6M
liquidity > monthly
i) it can buy/sell positions in a way that reduces price exposure, then collect the difference between spot & futures/funding rates
ii) the fund was brought on-chain through KAIO on Sei, &
@LaserDigital_
says it targets funding rate inefficiencies + staking yield opportunities while trying to stay market neutral
iii) this is still for institutional & accredited investors, so the access layer stays permissioned even if the product sits on-chain
β’ β’ β’ MACRO β’ β’ β’
minimum investment > $10,000
TVL > $15.8M
liquidity > monthly
i) MACRO is KAIO's tokenized access to the Brevan Howard Master Fund, which is a hedge fund strategy focused on global macro & relative value trading
ii) what it means essentially is that it tries to earn from moves or pricing gaps in global fixed income & FX markets, instead of betting on one asset going up
