for this Stocklana Hackathon i pondered on alot of things particularly about what to build and what issues could be solved while building for it. in my mind it had to be mobile first, consumer app with an agent at its core but not like the regular agentic trading terminals. AI agents now handle money; it's all the rave of the moment. within the next decade, more agents will do more tasks and handle more money than humans will. and the sales pitch for them are faster execution, smarter, etc. the problem is you have to trust these agents. from experience we know there are risks. it is one bad prompt or one dodgy link away from doing something stupid with your money. i kept asking the same question over and over; "why do we have to trust agents?" So instead of trying to build a more trustworthy agent, I put the rules somewhere the agent can't reach. introducing; CLEAT. in English a cleat is that metal thing on a dock you tie a boat to. It doesn't steer the boat anywhere. It just stops it drifting off. same concept here. you speak or write a sentence about how your money should be handled. that sentence goes on a blockchain, in an account only your key can change. the agent can read it. It can't edit it. once you have set your mandate the agent then goes to work. it watches the market and proposes trades. every proposal gets checked against your sentence first, and the answer is one of three things. Cleared: it goes through. Trimmed: it was too big and got cut down to what fits. Refused: nothing happens. here's the kicker, it can't see what you own. the amount you hold here's the kicker, it can't see what you own. the amount you hold runs through a gate which is @Arcium 's MPC.
