I came to Fomies expecting another NFT whitelist grind. Instead I filed paperwork with the Department of FOMO, received a visitor pass, reported an elevator incident, got sent on raids, was explicitly told not to ask about a certain pickle, and am now apparently investigating an occupied room. Underneath all the nonsense, there’s actually a clever idea here: the whitelist process itself is the game. Most projects ask you to complete engagement tasks. Fomies gives those same actions context, progression and a story, so you end up participating because you want to see what ridiculous thing the Department asks you to do next. 昨日ベータ公開された @ponsdotfamily の新しいBetaサイトみた人いますか? これは単なるUIリニューアルではなさそう。というかこれは熱そう 旧PonsはLaunchpadを中心に、Explore / Forum / Analyticsを組み合わせた構成だった。 新BetaではUIが大きく作り直されているけど、Githubに上がってるbeta.mdまで読むと変わっているのは見た目だけではない。 github.com/ponsdotdev/pons-l… Betaは新しい Pons v2 contracts を使っていて、tokenのlaunchからgraduation、その後のliquidityまで含めて基盤自体を作り直している。 個人的に今回一番面白い新機能が PLP（Pons Liquidity Pool）。 名前だけ見ると普通のLPっぽいけど、仕組みはかなり違う。 PLPでは各tokenに専用のbookを作り、現在価格の上下およそ3%から注文を置く。 大きな売りが来れば下で少しずつ買い、大きな買いが来れば上で売る。買ったtokenは価格が戻れば再び上で売られる。 つまりAMMに流動性を置いてswap feeを受け取るだけではなく、大きなtradeを吸収しながら、価格の往復からspreadを取る自動Market Making / Gridに近い仕組み。 ここで面白いのは「ボラティリティが高ければ高いほど良い」という単純な話ではないこと。 下落したまま戻らなければbookは買ったtokenを抱える。逆に、十分な取引があり、上下に動きながら価格が何度も戻ってくるtokenほどPLPには向いていそう。 Betaでは過去7日間のprice actionにPLPをreplayした推定APRも表示されていて、例えばPRIORSは現在 790.9% est.。 もちろん790%の実績利回りという意味ではなく、短期間の結果をannualizeした推定値。実際にはfill頻度、値動き、mean reversion、そして抱えたtoken inventoryの価値まで見ないと評価できない。 現在は 180 booksがOpen for deposits になっているものの、Total in PLPは$0、Books with depositsも0。Betaではwallet actionもまだ使えないので、今見えている数字は実運用成績ではない。 正式稼働したら、推定APRよりも 実際にどれくらい実効数値になって、何%がround tripして、最終的にpair assetベースでどれだけ残るのか を見てみたい。 そして beta.md を読むと、PLPが単独のyield productではないことも見えてくる。 Pons v2ではlaunch時のpairにETHだけでなく、stablecoinやtokenized stockなどのapproved ERC-20を選択できる。 Bonding curveを完走するとUniswap v4のfull-range poolへgraduationし、そのliquidityは永久lock。そこからさらにPLPがgraduation後の市場に別のliquidity layerを提供する。 つまり、 Launch → Bonding Curve → Graduation → Permanent Liquidity → PLP までを一つのecosystemとして作ろうとしているように見える。 さらに面白いのが Solana対応。 PonsはPump.funと対抗してSolanaに別のlaunchpadを作るのではなく、beta.mdでは明確に “in collaboration with Pump.fun” と書いている。 将来的には同じPonsのCreate flowからRobinhood ChainかSolanaを選び、Solana launchも同じboard上で扱う構想になっている。 以前は「Ponsが他chainまで展開したらPump.funの競合になるのでは？」とも思っていたけど、少なくともSolanaについてはむしろ逆だった。 既存のlaunch infrastructureと共存しながら、Ponsがその上のdiscovery / analytics / liquidity / profile layerを取りに行くようにも見える。 ちなみに以前公開されていたteaserにはFollow / Followersのようなprofile UIもあった。Beta仕様にもwalletに紐づいたpublic profileは明記されている。 Follow機能自体はまだ正式仕様として確認できないけど、将来的にFomoのようなsocial discovery要素まで入ってくるなら、さらに面白くなる。 そう考えるとPonsが作ろうとしているものは、もう単なる「Robinhood Chain版 Pump.fun」ではなさそう。 Launch / Discover / Trade / Analyze / Provide Liquidity そして将来的には Follow / Discuss まで含めた、multi-chainのtoken platformに近づこうとしているように見える。 まだBetaだし、v2 contractsもaudit完了前なので当然リスクはある。 それでも今回のBetaで個人的に一番興味深いのは、新しいtokenを大量にlaunchする機能ではなく、launchされたtokenの市場をその後も機能させる仕組みとしてPLPを追加してきたこと。 正式稼働したらこれは実際試してみたい。 やはり @MEADGod は一段さらに向こうを捉えている、いつも。 ちなみにベータでまだ意味のあるアクションは取れないみたい(見るだけ)ですが、ここまで読んでくれた人にはあと自分1つだけインビコードが余ってます。FCFSで
