Fully back the GRA and Gardaí standing up for fair treatment and a proper voice on their pay and conditions. They shouldn’t have to fight for legal rights.
It is shameful that relations with Garda management have been allowed to deteriorate this far.
Gardaí deserve better.
Rank-and-file gardaí are set to withdraw from overtime in Dublin on five dates next month, including the day the Budget is announced as well as Halloween, as part of industrial action calling for better conditions and pay rte.ie/news/2026/0924/159282…

Shocking treatment of an elected Garda representative for speaking up for his members.
Now we’ve gone from reports of an investigation to an assessment of whether there should even be one.
Garda representatives cannot be frightened into silence.
Gardaí have said they are not carrying out a discipline investigation into a senior Garda Representative Association (GRA) member but instead are carrying out an assessment to see if they need to carry out an investigation.

Social media companies must be held to account. The sheer volume of content glorifying car theft and dangerously driving stolen vehicles on motorways is staggering. This only rewards criminality and encourages copycat behaviour with, as we have seen, potentially fatal consequences.
