Wanna see me get real sideways… pretend like a sub varsity game doesn’t matter. It freaking matters. Every kid in our program matters. Their success matters. The standard don’t change no matter the game or the opponent. @stevehoffman74 taught me that.

Friday Night Lights is the greatest tv show of all time. No one will ever convince me otherwise. Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose!

Caldwell Hornets youth football 5-6th grade team move to 4-1 and clinch a playoff spot with the win over Smithville 40-6. Boys are playing great and ready to take on Rockdale next week!

Final reminder before the war starts It has been 1,099 days since UTSA has beaten us in a football game Let’s add 365 more to it.

Every HS football team needs a few “f-that sh*t, we ain’t losing” dudes in order to be successful. #hsfb #football #coach #coaching

Not the results we wanted in our youth game but proud of our kids and was great seeing Riggins back on the field. Ran to Austin after to catch the TX vs T State game. Football is back!

Major props to the Texas State band holding it down the whole game up top in 100+ heat vs Texas! @txst @TxStateBobcats

This speech by Hugh Freeze will make you want to run through a brick wall! College football is back this week! 🔥🔥🔥

Cougar and Riggins putting in some extra work with Coach @txqb . Seeing them both on the field at the same time is great to watch! #prouddad

Perspective changes everything. “I grew up watching my dad wake up at 4:30 for a job he didn’t like. So if I can’t wake up early and work hard at a job I do like, I shouldn’t be playing football.” Powerful words from Cam Ward. Gratitude and grit.

Cougar and Riggins have put in work this summer and Riggins has overcome a lot of adversity this year. Can’t wait to watch these boys do what they love this year and be a fan. #prouddad

The Caldwell 5-8th graders putting in work yesterday doing 7on7. Great turnout and keep grinding! @CHS_Hornets1

September 2005. Hurricane Rita was bearing down on Texas. Texas A&M moved its game against Texas State from Saturday to Thursday night. Most people remember the evacuation. I remember Barrick Nealy throwing for 378 yards and the Bobcats having the ball at the Aggie 7-yard line late in the 4th quarter with a chance to make Kyle Field very uncomfortable. One of the great “what if” games in Bobcat history. #TXST #EatEmUp

Great weekend of baseball! Cougar dominating the mound throwing 11 K’s in one game and going yard in another. Making 4 for the year and leading the team. Keep balling! Hard work pays off!

With Championship Programs: Playing time is earned. It’s about practice, not politics. It’s about hard work, not handouts. It’s about ability, not agendas. It’s about standards, not spite. It’s about improvement, not influence. It’s about performance, not people pleasing.
