In my opinion if we looked at individual brilliance then Mbappe was the strongest candidateβ€”he just lacked silverware. Lamine won all the major trophies but he wasn’t the best player in those competitions. So I guess it’s only fair that Harry Kane takes it because he’s got a good balance of both. I don’t think anyone got robbed.
