I wrote a post about how security undervalues preventing problems, and how this can be exasperated by AI and the vulnpocalypse, even though AI should actually make robustness much easier for defenders
All seven Databricks co-founders began our journey together at UC Berkeley. We started the company in a room in Soda Hall, moved to a small office on Addison Street, and spent our first few years in Berkeley before eventually heading to SF. Two of our co-founders are still on the faculty.
Today we announced Databricks Field at California Memorial Stadium, our first collegiate athletics sponsorship.
Berkeley shaped everything about how this company thinks, and this is our way of investing in the next generation of students and builders who'll do their best work on that campus.

I hate reading Claude writing, specifically. PR descriptions, in-repo markdown, even just a long response in an agent harness. Something about it is way worse than other models.
Pointing a frontier model at your Starcraft II replay directory and letting it write Python to analyze game state and provide tips and a list of things to improve is actually pretty cool.

is a factor of RSA-896

On safety risk, to those building agents: You are an expert in concerns X, Y, and Z, so your agent is likely phenomenal at them. But there are innumerable other concerns you cannot judge or evaluate. You are relying heavily on the model’s priors to mitigate that risk.
Incidentally, I estimate RSA-1024 (bits, not digits) would take 2,000 GPU-years.
To put this in context, a single cluster in a modern hyperscaler might have 100,000 GPUs.
GNFS doesn't fully parallelize across that, but this capacity could factor a RSA-1024 in weeks.
