For my first post as the new product lead for @googlechrome, I thought it would be fun to share my actual setup and how I work in Chrome. I use vertical tabs and tab groups to keep everything organized. I have some tab groups for evergreen work (e.g. team management) and some for ephemeral projects (e.g. a big presentation). I color code evergreen work as…. green. My most important projects are red, and other tasks are yellow or orange. If you haven’t used vertical tabs or tab groups yet, give them a try and send me some feedback!

Safari updated ~annually • 2010: Chrome commits to 6-week releases & automatic updates. (People called us crazy.) • 2021: Chrome updates to 4-week releases. (People said it was too fast.) • 2026: Chrome goes to 2-week releases. (Opinions TBD :) Release early, release often for fresher features and faster fixes... especially important with AI vuln discovery! 💪
