Update: I have a new job and I’m very excited about it. I am (re)joining Google as the VP of Product for Google Chrome! Several of my colleagues from Relay.app are joining the team as well :). Let me quickly explain why we’re so excited to work on Chrome. I’ve spent my whole career doing one thing: building tools that help people get more done with AI, without sacrificing their personal creativity or insights. And joining the Chrome team is an ideal opportunity to bring those experiences to many, many more people. Here’s why: 1. It’s the primary workspace for productivity. Like many people, I have my Chrome browser open all day, every day. It’s personalized to exactly what I want, and I’ve got tabs open for all of my most important tools and tasks. 2. It’s an open platform for the entire web. Chrome works with every app and every site, so I can get anything done (no need to worry about what APIs / MCP servers exist). 3. It’s the perfect place to collaborate with agents. So much of my work with AI involves passing the baton back and forth until I’m happy with the output, and in Chrome I can do that right where the app is already open. We have some really ambitious plans to help you work with AI in Chrome to get things done, and I’ll have more to share soon. In the meantime, please send me any feedback, ideas, and bug reports!
