Sherrill's big consistency problem with Caldwell is that she was undoubtably aware of at least some of the allegations against him and still traveled out-of-state, leaving him as acting governor for 18 days. Now she says he must resign, and she's not traveling.

One notable thing so far about Caldwell reaction: Both NJ U.S. Senators have called on him to resign, but no comments yet from Assembly speaker and Senate prez. The latter actually could have a role to play in what happens to Caldwell.
