there are some really incredible charts forming out there, one I'd like to add to is near:native but not here. I started a position into the move around $3 but not any meaningful size unfortunately, just a starter bag. When this forms a HL will look to get a proper trade on and some targets up.

Young grinder I really appreciate the post. It means a lot. I'm just a normal kid that worked hard and got really lucky. Just know they'll never see the 500+ days locked in a room going to the 24h gym at 4am, no friends, no sex, no sleep. They weren't in the discord in 2017 learning everything they could about trading perpetual swaps. They weren't there seeing a friend pass away due to losing it all during the Covid crash. You're nursing a -80% drawdown but you have to be there for family. They weren't there when you're net worth negative if you lose a few more coinflips post FTX. But they'll all have an opinion when you make it. ENDURE EVERYTHING AND ALL GLORY TO GOD.

First they poisoned the lettuce, and I didn’t speak up because it’s lettuce. Then they poisoned the fruit, and I didn’t speak up because it’s fruit. Then they poisoned the jalapeños, and I didn’t speak up pero yo soy gringo. Then they poisoned the buffalo chicken wings.
The USDA has issues a recall of frozen buffalo chicken products at the highest risk level, indicating a reasonable chance of "serious adverse health consequences or death" after the products were sold without federal inspection.

“It’s not whether you’re right or wrong, it’s how much you make when you’re right and how much you lose when you’re wrong.” $PURR (HypeStrat) is up 70% since Druckenmiller’s position was publicly disclosed.
Just for you to understand what kind of beast this guy is: > 30% annualized returns for 30 years > ZERO losing years from 1981 to 2010 > Helped Soros break the Bank of England in 1992 > Made $1B on the British pound trade > Started Duquesne with $1M and grew it into a $12B fund > Closed 2008 in profit while markets were getting destroyed One of the greatest macro traders of all time is now buying $PURR effectively betting on Hyperliquid success.

Today, I’m open-sourcing /fuck-cancer, an AI skill that helps patients and caregivers navigate cancer diagnosis and treatment and advocate for themselves and their loved ones. Here’s what patients and caregivers have told me since I shared my mom’s story: “You have to be a huge patient advocate. Ask questions and push for answers, biopsies, and proper testing.” “I need help navigating difficult conversations and advocating for myself.” “The volume of doctors, documents, and insurance paperwork can quickly become overwhelming.” I built the skill to help with these problems. It creates and updates a practical brief with five sections: 1. Patient and care-team information for easy reference during calls 2. What to do next, limited to three specific actions 3. What we know, separating confirmed facts from what remains unclear 4. Medical terms explained in plain English 5. A care log with recent updates and decisions It builds this brief from documents, and context you provide. When research is needed, it uses trusted sources such as the National Cancer Institute and the ClinicalTrials gov API. I use it with ChatGPT/Codex and Claude Code to prepare for conversations and research. It can save the brief locally as a Markdown file or update a shareable Google Doc so the whole family can work from the same information. 📌 Get the free, open-source skill here: github.com/petergyang/fuck-c… If you find it useful, please ⭐ the repo and share it with someone going through this BS disease.

A person I have known for more than ten years, who I consider trustworthy, is convinced the cryptocurrency economy will shortly experience a systemic risk. I don’t know anything concrete, but if I were exposed, I would be concerned.
I think the Bitcoin bump was a dead-cat bounce. It's not hitting a new high any time soon. There are more valuable things for individuals and institutions to own IMO.

We tell young people in our society that end of the rainbow is retirement at 65. We ought to tell them that "there is going to be this short but beautiful golden window from roughly age 3 to roughly age 12 where your kids are not only easy (comparatively to bottles & diapers), but are going to be these beautiful little creatures and it will pain your heart to be away from them for too long. So, prepare in your 20's, financially and career wise, to build that flexibility into that chapter of your life". You don't get another shot at living the "golden window". And, for me, leaning hard into that golden window has made everything else in my life feel fairly insignificant in comparison. I have made plenty of mistakes as a father, but what I won't have is the regret of having been distracted and absent from these formative years. In some cases, that has required financial sacrifices (declining a particular career opportunity that would have required relocation), but I personally have zero regrets. I also hear from some ambitious & successful people with a 4 year old that say "I've lost my ambition, I am so immersed in fatherhood". At least for me, and a number of my friends, it comes back. You can't keep an ambitious person down and if you have the fire, hanging at a playground on too many Tuesday afternoons is going to feel like torture after too long. My three boys are approaching 13, 11 & 9, and it's much different than 7, 5 & 3. This summer, for example, they slept until 11am and I hard an unencumbered 6am-12pm to work (being on PT helps), then got another great window 7-11pm, but was able to be present in the heart of the day, then weeks when they were at basketball camp, etc. It gets easier, your time frees up again (there's a sadness to that too), but I'm back to working as intensely as I did pre-kids just because my day to day presence requires fewer hours than it did before (also, my wife is just superbly wonderful). And that is the beautiful gift of entrepreneurship (or at least my sort of business), the ability to deliver still a high level of output but work that around your life rather than the opposite. TLDR, grind before, and grind after. Prepare for the golden window.

last few wks had lots of sellers (DATs, Miners pivoting, Early adopters) in spot mkts, overwriters (Sep 70k) but BTC price flatlined was actually a bullish sign that price action held so well throughout those sales then you had gold catching a bid from china with quiet whispers of BTC store of value narrative re-emerging — now price action and momentum chasing going to override all the quantum risk concerns which are too far away to quash an underowned / hated rally expect macro guys to get more vocal after having put in a floor and accumulated in the last few wks to shill their bags. four year cycle, gold, Bessent buying 30ys — the story writes itself
Everybody knows that everybody knows that the halving cycle and Uptober coincide this year. Bitcoin has done nothing for so long that it feels stupid to even express a view. With the treasury announcement today and gold rising back from the dead, I am thinking the time to buy bitcoin is now, not later. Pretty easy trade to risk manage. Below 60k it's wrong. Not investment advice. Option leverage is good as IV is super low. If it works, you hold until mid-October or sell at 78k/80k area.

Today we're releasing Computer History in ChatGPT. It lets ChatGPT learn from everything you do on your computer, so it can better understand how you work, finish tasks that you're in the middle of, and suggest skills and automations based on how you use your computer.

It seems a common experience in the lives of people with high agency is that they, at some point, metaphorically, lean against a wall and discover that there is a hidden door. That some constraint they’ve been told about turns out not to hold, and this allows them to experience something positive. And from this they get into the habit of testing if walls are actually doors, and the more they do so, the more examples of hidden doors they find, and the more inclined they are to look for them. Far from the only thing that sets them apart, but having that experience can be transformative — Henrik Olof Karlsson
