what i find interesting about
@ptsdshow is that it doesn’t feel like another crypto account trying to explain crypto.
it feels like crypto culture turned into a show.
the recent posts around the episodes, clips and PTSD tickets make that pretty obvious. the project keeps building around characters, jokes and situations that already feel familiar to people who have spent enough time in web3.
that matters because memes usually disappear as fast as they arrive.
characters can stick around.
pt, sd, zachgpt, cousin dick and the rest of the cast give the project a recurring world where new jokes can actually build on old ones.
even the “non fuddable tickets” idea fits that direction: it turns the audience from passive viewers into people following what happens next.
@ptsdshow
i think the interesting challenge now is keeping the universe recognizable while constantly finding new ways to make crypto culture funny.
if they pull that off, PTSD becomes more than a meme page.
it becomes a running series.
