Who are you giving these licences to? Just one of many reasons why Glasgow residents will be attending the meeting tomorrow morning. Questions need to be answered. This is unacceptable.

The IRA were terrorists, not soldiers. Their campaign of murder and bombing was not a war of equals, and no amount of historical revisionism will ever make it so. Labour’s Northern Ireland Troubles Bill risks allowing the IRA to rewrite history while British veterans face the prospect of being dragged through investigations decades after serving their country. Where is the accountability for the IRA? Where are the answers from the Irish Government about those who fled across the border, the support they received and the supply of weapons? I served in the British Army. My friend, Captain Robert Nairac, was murdered by the IRA. His body has never been recovered. His family still deserves to know what happened to him and where he lies. The IRA cannot be allowed to portray its campaign of terror as justified by the Good Friday Agreement. Peace does not retrospectively legitimise murder. There is no moral equivalence between terrorists and those who served to uphold the law. This Bill is a betrayal of our veterans and of families still waiting for the truth.

On October 7th, Hamas set the Even family's home ablaze. The Jewish Israeli family hid in their mamad (safe room), but the smoke was too much. They had to escape. But when they did, Hamas shouting "allahu akbar" was waiting. They hid in the bushes around their home, waiting for hope that never came. Their last moments frightened, smoke clogging their airways. When Hamas finally got to them, the adults shielded their sons from gunfire with their own bodies. The father, mother and Alon (16) and Ido (14) didn't survive that day. Only the youngest, Tomer (12) and Nir (8) did. Of this six people in the photo, only the two youngest survived. This is the evil that Israel is fighting. May peace in the Middle East prevail. May their memories be a blessing💔🕯️

These are the faces the regimes feared most. Fahimeh is from Afghanistan. Her husband threw acid on her face because of her activities against against the Taliban and told her: now I have taken your eyes and your face, people will be scared of you, so I dare you to go out and talk to people. I invited them to come on stage with because I want to dedicate my award to these real activists. She met Kosar, an Iranian woman who was blinded by the Islamic Republic during the Woman life Freedom uprising. Thank you Poland for giving us visas. I am taking these two women to Auschwitz before they go on stage. They will stand on stage in Poland, the face her husband wanted to hide speaking to thousands. I do not see victims. I see heroes. They are not fighting for themselves. They are fighting to protect democracy everywhere from the most dangerous cancer, which is called Islamism. Meanwhile, women sit on death row in Iran right now, waiting for the gallows. Women are being erased from every classroom, every job, every public street under the Taliban. And the whole world is quiet. Where are the women's marches? Where is the outrage? This is why I call on universities across Europe and America: open your doors to these heroes. Invite them. Let the new generation of the West hear the truth from women who paid the price of freedom with their eyes and their faces. Books cannot teach what they have lived.
