For me, it's how he went bankrupt in Nigeria and it was very quiet. Him saying it after almost 20 years is the first time it's become public knowledge. Also wondering what the bankruptcy laws/code in Nigeria is.
The inspiring thing about the Otedola/Elumelu fight is how Otedola went bankrupt and fought his way back up. That’s the key thing I took from there

I was also surprised just learning about his being bankrupt. The only thing I remember reading some years ago was his networth reportedly dipping from over $1b (when he first made Forbes list) to circa $300k some years later.

Replying to @SirJarus @amasonic
It was common knowledge that @realFemiOtedola's net-worth went sub-0 & his assets were foreclosed on by Banks & AMCON. Watch his interview on #MyWorstDay with @PeaceHyde youtu.be/nBhpVAKnxjY One of the most important clips I ever watched. Biggest story of resilience.
