The sad reality is: Because our medical establishment has proven so frequently wrong, corrupt, and conflicted, when it recommends a product or tries to "debunk" another, people reflexively think they should do the opposite-- Regardless of what the truth may be.
This is the trouble with the loss of confidence in our institutions, which many of us foretold years ago. Many of you saw it coming.
The same is true with politics, government, media, technology, finance, education...
There are good reasons why we don't trust the usual suspects. But there's potential peril when half the people won't believe anything, whether true or not.
