I will not hear any complaining about this. Joe Biden tried to put Donald Trump in jail for the rest of his life. If he can't tolerate a little bit of mockery, then too bad for him. Anybody pretending that President Trump needs to adopt this artifice of "Oh yeah, there's really bipartisan unity, and God forbid we insult one another," is being ridiculous. You don't get to try to put the former president in jail and then expect that the rest of us will just be okay with it (or that you won't get mocked if you end up losing)

I don't think foreign policy is easily explained in any circumstance, other than isolationism, which is easy to explain and almost always wrong. The war with Iran was not a war of choice, even if we chose (after 47 years) to win it. Winning has a price. Losing has a higher price.
