TVs are better and cheaper than 10 years ago. Groceries are worse and more expensive than 10 years ago. Same economy. Same decade. What explains the difference?

You're seriously comparing electronics with groceries? That's an apple and orange comparison if I ever saw one. In the electronics industry you can continue to make efficiencies to lower the cost and volume produced is a very important part of that. They are always working at finding less expensive components as well. Those types of options don't work with farming. You buy cheaper fertilizer you end up with less yield, so no efficiency is achieved there. You can't create a machine yourself that would lower harvesting costs, so they are what they are. I could go on, but the point is they are not the same.

U.S. median income can buy 13,891 less cans of tomato soup than in the 1970s. Food ingredients and pesticides have been deployed to hide true inflation. I recommend to follow the money printer to understand why food is making us sick.

Interesting angle. What is your proposed remedy? Kill the Fed to save the food?

That's because there is more valuable work to do than making 10 cent cans of soup. This is obvious if you actually thought about it. If all electronics production was replaced with cans of soups, then you'd get your 10 cent cans, but wages would tank, & also no more electronics.
