It was great joining @jd_durkin for a live broadcast of @FINTECHTVglobal from the @NYSE floor. We covered the latest from @circle, including the launch of @arc, among other strategic developments.
Circle's Arc Mainnet launched, running on USDC as native gas with sub-second finality. @ddisparte, CSO of @circle, tells @JD_Durkin it's an "institutional blockchain that will work at scale," designed with privacy and the AI-powered economy in mind.

Ten years ago today, Daniel Wagner and I published Global Risk Agility and Decision Making: Organizational Resilience in the Era of Man-Made Risk. At the time, many of the risks we examined could still seem abstract or distant. Over the decade since, each of the book’s protagonists has reared its ugly head. A global pandemic tested institutions, economies and communities. Cyber threats grew in scale and consequence. Political risk, conflict and economic nationalism reshaped markets and supply chains. The effects of a changing climate became more frequent, visible and costly. If the last decade taught us anything, it is that risks do not respect borders, sectors or planning cycles. They converge, compound and move faster than institutions built to manage them. The central premise of the book feels more urgent today than it did in 2016: risk management cannot remain a passive exercise in prevention or compliance. It must become a source of agility - a capacity to anticipate, adapt, absorb shocks and emerge stronger. The question is no longer whether these risks will materialize. They have. The challenge for the next decade is whether leaders will convert hard-earned lessons into renewed commitments to readiness, resilience and better decision-making. A decade later, the work of building a more risk-agile world continues. dantedisparte.com/book/globa…

Agree @SenLummis - @thehill got this right. Chris Land is a national treasure and his institutional knowledge of the Senate and his instinctive bipartisanship are how bills get passed.
Proud of my longtime staffer, Chris Land, for being named one of The Hill's 25 Most Notable Hill Staffers of 2026. He has led our digital assets efforts and served as the lead policy staffer on the GENIUS Act and Clarity Act negotiations. Congrats, Chris! thehill.com/the-hill-notable…

The House Ways and Means Committee is making strong, bipartisan progress today on the Digital Asset Tax Certainty Act. This sensible bill allows regulated digital dollars to be used and taxed like the dollar they represent. It also complements the GENIUS Act's legal framework and reinforces U.S. leadership in dollar-based digital finance.
PASSED: The Ways and Means Committee just passed the Digital Asset Tax Certainty Act — a historic step toward establishing a clear tax framework for digital assets. Through strong bipartisan collaboration, Republicans and Democrats came together to modernize outdated tax rules that have failed to keep pace as digital assets become part of everyday life for millions of Americans, putting them on a level playing field with traditional financial assets.

The GENIUS Act established landmark U.S. rules for digital dollars and is foundational for Circle and the broader digital asset ecosystem. It also proved that Congress can find bipartisan common ground to ensure that the U.S. leads regulation of this growing industry. We encourage lawmakers to return to that same spirit to achieve a durable, bipartisan outcome for CLARITY.

An important milestone for the future of money and global trade. I commend the @WTO for shining a light on the emerging role of regulated stablecoins as a medium of exchange for cross-border commerce. A pragmatic view on both their opportunities and risks is welcome. Grateful to Director-General @NOIweala for her personal leadership and interest in this important work. The WTO’s engagement is timely and welcome. wto.org/english/news_e/news2…

The bipartisan GENIUS Act established U.S. law for digital dollars. The Senate's new CLARITY draft provides a strong, much-needed framework for digital asset markets. This is a historic opportunity to provide certainty, enhance protections, and strengthen U.S. crypto market leadership. We encourage lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to keep engaging toward a durable, bipartisan outcome.

We’re backstage at @thestablecon sitting down with the speakers as they come off stage. @unvested_ spoke with @ddisparte about whether the US needs a CBDC. His answer? A US CBDC would be “against the American way of doing business.” They discuss why stablecoins should remain privately issued, how regulation can provide the guardrails, and why clearer accounting standards could be an important step toward mainstream adoption. #Stablecoins #CBDC #Fintech
