Some expansion
1)this is the overhaul of GST council's officers committee structure
2)this is to reduce overlapping committees and simplify how gst related issues are examined before, the council is separate
3)there will only be three committees now all others will be disbanded
🚨 Karnataka, Maharashtra, UP, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu get permanent seats in the new GST Standing Committee.
The 12-state panel has 5 large, 4 medium and 3 small states.
Other seats will rotate every 2 years.

Also the rotation will happen every two years for the 7 rotational positions with new states in list
For the first two-year cycle, Rajasthan and West Bengal, Kerala and Punjab, and Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Meghalaya have been proposed as of now.
