This is exactly why I can't use Claude it drives me crazy. I tried setting preferences and skills and prompting every session to stop blowing smoke up my ass but it just kept doing it no matter what i did. I don't care if it's the best model for what i need to do i can't freaking stand it. Deleted it. It's on par for what i need with the other models.

Keep seeing the @JensenHuang video about just because it comes from scientists doesn’t mean it’s science is true. What is also true is why did Jensen buy Hugging Face when he did? Was it to save OS or hide what actually happened to Hugging Face? How much does he depend on the companies/frontier models buying chips from him? Kinda weird timing isn’t it?

How come we have gotten back control of the Panama Canal, got this great deal in Venezuela but still have gas prices going up higher than ever? I thought Venezuela had just as much/more oil than the Middle East? Plus, if AI is correct, we only get 2% of our needed supply through the Strait of Hormuz. It's like if you are a Bar owner and go through 200 kegs of beer a week and then a supplier of two of those kegs said they can't deliver ever again so you raise your prices 30%? The smell is off. I'm sure there will be people that say this and that but it just doesn't make sense. it's always supply and demand, right? That's what we have always been sold.

Using the @Hi3D_AI app for Mac and tried to generate a Lamp with the lamp plugin and got an error it wouldn't generate. I then tried to generate the lamp with a prompt. Asked me 5 different questions which is ok but took a longtime in between each question. Then it shows 6 steps and burned through a 110 tokens and still didn't get to the second step. i had to delete the app. Terrible first impression. @appzapper for the win! Side note is I tried the web app and it seemed ok. They had a deal on for the year at $75 so i gave it. Now it seems to have regressed. I am trying what i tried the first few times and they are not as good. The initial model generation is pretty good but the painting sucks and the break apart just doesn't work. Stylized texture was kinda close so passable if just playing around. Which actually brings up what the app is useful for, just playing around.

It’s not that far of a leap to think AI could do some real damage but to me it’s a jump off the tallest of buildings to think it will end humanity. I mean look at how hard it was for the Terminator! I mean, he’s making workout videos now.

Delta has a new home and looking mighty spry! I did a test print and it prints within a .5 mm of what it’s supposed to be. Everything is low so if I just bump up the flow a tiny bit it’ll be spot on. To tell you the truth I’m actually ok with it for now.

It's incredible how far you can go if you just don't stop.

First print off a $40 FLSunn SR. Some might be thinking they have to get the latest and greatest to get into 3d printing but this printer is plenty fast. In the video I have it on the slower side to get it printing and then I’ll scale up. $40 printer and $15 filament grand totals a whole $55 and I’m printing up to 200ms! Would I love the latest XL/INDX or the Bambu H2C? Sure I would but I don’t have the money so I do what I can and I’m happy with it. Maybe one day I’ll be able to buy one but not today. Today I’m gonna have fun. We can just do things cuz 3d printing fixes everything!!!
