I soft-launched YouSpot yesterday (via a tweet). YouSpot is an AI-native Solo CRM. Fortune favors the focused. So, here's who YouSpot is NOT for: 1) If you have a GTM team (marketing/sales) and looking to grow, YouSpot is not for you. Buy HubSpot. 2) If are an e-commerce store, YouSpot is not for you. Product is focused more on B2B and "high consideration" purchases. 3) If you have raised venture money, you should look into HubSpot for Startups. That's the right product. 4) If you're hoping for an open source project that you can run locally, and connect your own local models and use the Karpathy wiki style knowledgebase -- you are *awesome*, but YouSpot is not for you. 5) If you're trying to manage your personal stuff and family life -- I honor you, but YouSpot is not a B2C product. It's meant for 1-person companies (businesses being operated by a single human). 6) If you're worried about connecting your Gmail and other systems to a third-party app you didn't build yourself -- I respect your worry. The world is a scary place. But YouSpot is probably not for you (you're not going to get value without connecting third-party systems that can be used to build your second brain). Other than that, would love to have you as a beta user! :). Just go to YouSpot.com. Waitlist for the free private beta, or skip the line by coming a $1/month subscriber (first 1,000 users and we're already 547 in). Building this in public, so if you have questions around what's in my head (and what's in my second brain), just reply to this tweet and ask. Cheers.

I'm not a sportsball guy, but I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation @bhalligan had with @tombrady. I was there in the front row at UNBOUND. It was all about the importance of hard work and getting in your reps. My favorite line was "practice like you're playing the game". Showing it to my son (who is also not a big sportsball guy). #recommend

"Winning and losing are only loose signals of decision quality." One of my favorite lines from a business book. This is from "Thinking In Bets" by Annie Duke.

Idea for an AI newsletter: Email subscribers any week that there is *not* a new model upgrade.

Two patterns i've observed in generational founders: 1. Perpetual / persistent dissatisfaction with the status quo. 2. Ambition / TAM that expands as the company grows.

Do you love @meetgranola for taking meeting notes? Me too! That's why I've spent this weekend building Granola integration into @YouSpotHub. Now, you can grab your Granola personal API key and just paste it into YouSpot. Then, the magic commences. YouSpot will sync your notes, extract entities (like company mentions) from those notes. Link everything together in the context graph and put it all in your Second Brain. Then, you have access to it via chat, MCP and cloud agents. Oh and your daily brief emails will get smarter by factoring in your meeting notes. YouSpot is the AI-native Solo CRM built specifically for one person companies. If you're operating a one person company, running a solo side gig or are a creator building a personal brand, you should check it out. Just go to YouSpot .com -- it's just $10/month and there's a free version too. Thanks.

3 good quotes from my interview with @TomBrady today, applicable to all aspiring GOATS. 1. "I treated practice like the Super Bowl." — On why he was never nervous in the big moment. He'd already run it 100 times before. 2. "You have to make a lot of bad decisions to gain the experience to make good ones." — His whole theory of getting good at anything new. Including AI. 3."We only grow when things are outside our comfort zone." — The GOAT, on why he keeps starting over at things he's bad at. 🐐

A $1.4M domain sold yesterday on a payment plan, with a substantial down payment. It's the fourth name this founder has bought from us. Two thoughts. Payment plans widen the market for great names. There have never been more startups, and never more competition for attention. A strong name is a real edge, but most entrepreneurs can't write a seven-figure check on day one. Discovery matters even at this level. They weren't looking for this specific name. They found it while browsing the marketplace, just like the previous three. Founders tend to brainstorm outward from what their company does, which often leads them toward descriptive names. The best brandable names are open vessels: broad enough to hold a company that doesn't exist yet. Which means many founders never think to search for them. You have to see the name first and recognize yourself in it.

Early adopters can make mediocre positioning look great because they already understand the problem.

My UNBOUND keynote is now officially in the books. Thought it went pretty well, but haven't watched the game tape yet. If you happened to see it either live or on livestream, would love your feedback. #unbound #unbound26

Thanks, Brian! High praise coming from you. Working my way up to being a guest on "Long Strange Trip". :)
I think @dharmesh gives tech's best keynote speeches. His annual one is today at 1:30pm est. Btw, I'm biased, but that doesn't make me wrong.

Not even a 5am fire alarm (false alarm, everyone's safe) last night and building evacuation is going to keep me from the #UNBOUND stage. I've got what I think is a fun presentation to share. See you there at 1:30 (live or on the livestream). p.s. If the alarm had only been a couple of hours earlier, I could have just kept rehearsing and tried out some new material with folks.

The day before I take the keynote stage at #UNBOUND in Boston, my episode on the Marketing Against The Grain podcast dropped today. This was a fun conversation. We talk about the rise of the solopreneur (1 person companies) and YouSpot (the AI-native CRM for those solopreneurs). Let me know what you think or if you have any questions. dharme.sh/braingrainvideo
