no wonder the Spanish have a reputation for having meals so late, their whole timezone is built on lies
It's odd to me how China gets (rightfully) mocked so much for having the whole country share one timezone, but we don't extend the same treatment to continental Europe. Spain, France, and the Benelux countries are just blatantly in the wrong timezone.

Almost liked a hate tweet bc I’m 🎯 in my answer.
Congressman Sarah McBride: They are trying to revoke Ilhan Omar's citizenship on bulls**t claims that have already been disproven about her age at the point that her father's citizenship went through, because she has stood up to this president and to Republicans in power.

Why do Americans keep calling crème caramel "flan"? Isn't that so inelegant?
It’s important to me that you all know about the existence of OnlyFlans

Collins comes out with her new attack line, "a man running against a woman is sexist" I'm crying bro she has NOTHING, every ad shows that she wishes her opponent was Graham Platner
#MaineSenate AdImpact: Susan Collins and the NRSC release ad in response to Jackson telling her to “shut up.”.

In ME-Sen 2020, Susan Collins avoided RCV being triggered by 0.98%. The third candidate in 2020 explicitly ran a "Rank me 1st, Gideon 2nd" campaign. 2026 will be a much bluer year than 2020. In 2026, there's no third candidate. If Collins underperforms 2020 by even 1%, she loses.

Collins still would've won in 2020 even if she got 1% less. Ballot exhaustion + imperfect flow from Savage to Gideon would've put her over the top. She won in real terms by about 4-5pts

Yes, she would have won in 2020. I'm saying that, in 2026, if she underperforms what she got in 2020 by more than 1% (and ZERO polls have her matching the ~51% she got in 2020) then she will lose to Jackson

One reason to be at least a little less doomer about this race is the 2025 NYC mayoral election. Cuomo very successful managed to squeeze the Republican vote down to just 7% because everyone knew he was the main opposition

Plus, Montana is much smaller than NYC and has a much cheaper media market. So I don't think it's going to be R+16 in the end - if Bankhead gets the same 7% that Sliwa got, it'd be 44-42-7 R/I/D. However, it is Montana
