It’s so wonderful to hear someone’s experience of seeing the results of the work they put in. A reminder for those of us still in the process to keep planting
6+ years of my design bookmarks are now finally live. 🥳

Many of history's great minds learned in surprisingly different and flexible ways. Many had tutors or intelligent people around them who introduced them to advanced ideas early rather than learning everything through a standard classroom. It made me think about how having access to knowledge is very different from actually engaging with it and creating something meaningful from it.

A good reminder that our past experiences and repeated emotional states can shape what we notice and what we miss. I liked the shift from asking, why is this so hard? to what might my nervous system have learned about me or the world that prevents me from seeing other possibilities? It helped me look at things differently instead of assuming this is just how it is.

India has 6,40,000+ villages.
Survey of India published the village boundaries as 3 GB of shapefiles. QGIS / ArcGIS only.
Used Claude Opus 5.5 and put all of them on a map you can search even from your phone. Name or LGD code.

Another hidden gem for designers. See how design leaders at Shopify, Anthropic, and Ramp think and work. Kinda mad I only found it now.

Learned that having depth across multiple domains helps you form better connections and create new ideas. With AI making knowledge more accessible, the real skill is knowing what to explore and what questions are worth asking.

The idea of where curiosity comes from and what we can learn from it stuck with me. Also liked the thought that losing yourself in the process and being okay with embarrassing yourself is often how you make progress.

How easily we can start chasing the score and forget what it represents. Gamifying difficult tasks can help but only if the game is worth winning. Kaczynski’s story also made me think about how getting too fixed on one idea can narrow our perspective.
