I’ve always wondered why we choose our favourite characters. I think sometimes it’s their personality, or backstory. Sometimes they just have that ✨something✨. I also think the characters we love usually reflect a lttle piece of who we are (or who we wish we could be)

(spoilers for FF8 Maybe?) Seifer spent all of FFVIII acting like he was the main character, and I think there was so much more they could have done with him. He had a rivalry with Squall, he obsessed over becoming a sorceress's knight, he was also in the orphanage with the main cast AND he had a summer fling with Rinoa before the game started. In my opinion he was such an interesting character with a LOT going on. I would have loved to see more of his perspective and how his story could have developed alongside Squall's. Maybe a little bit like Lagunas POV.

Bit the bullet and did one 😅 I'm going off what I played the most as a child and what games influenced me a lot with important decisions I.e Tekken 3 I couldn't stop playing and I ended up actually doing Karate because of it. I got to 3rd Dan, won a few international competitions and made quite a few friends. 😅 I could probably tell you a story about each game but I'll save it for another time
