The 737 MAX 8 in particular has a bad rap but what happened to FlyDubai 1073 should give every traveler confidence in these planes. The Wall Street Journal reports the jet reached about Mach 0.96 in the dive, well past its maximum operating speed of Mach 0.82, then was hauled out at roughly 3g and still landed with a chunk of its rudder gone. The thing people need to keep in mind is that while Boeing's engineers know the certified envelope and the safety margins, what they don't have is a full-scale flight test of a complete 737 Max flown until it breaks apart. So the exact speed and duration at which this airplane would have become unrecoverable was always modeled and estimated, and no one really knows at what points the airframe just disintegrates. Boeing is not going to destroy a complete plane and sacrifice a test pilot in flight just to measure a number no airline will ever need. All this to say that this is the safety factor doing its job. @Boeing can take a bow.

Learn a bit of history and then reflect. If you have half a brain and understand motivation, you’ll be singing a different tune. But for 70 years, the song has mistakenly remained the same. It’s just the singers that are different.
So people keep going back to “Israel invaded the land” and “Israel stole the land” and “Nakba-this” and “Nakba-that” and all sorts of other stories about why they justify Oct 7 and why Israel is in the wrong. Let’s clear a few things up. The land that is now Israel was lived in by both Muslims and Jews for a long time. If you want to get technical about who was there first, it was the Jews. How do we know this for a fact? Well, first of all, Jews have been around for about 2000 years longer than Muslims. Not enough for you? OK. How about the fact that the word “Israel” is mentioned in the Quran about 43 times. Palestine? Never once. Jewish people have been around longer than Muslim people have – fact. Jewish people were living in the place where Israel is much longer than Arabs have – also fact. In about 1250 BCE, the Jewish people went to what was then called Canaan – where Israel sits today. This is when they escaped slavery in Egypt, and wandered the dessert for 40 years. 1250BCE. About 1860 years before the founding of Islam. Fast forward to modern times. 1940s. Yes, there were both Arab-Muslims and Jews living on the land that is now called Israel. And yeah, there was fighting. On both sides. After the Holocaust, the push for the Jewish people to have their own country intensified. During WWII, too many countries turned their backs on Jews. A Jewish homeland would ensure that Jews always had somewhere to go. There could never be another Holocaust, another ethnic cleansing of Jews. Additionally, the UK was tired of dealing with all the fighting in the British Mandate of Palestine (what Israel was called before it was Israel), and wanted to wash their hands of it. So what did they do? They offered to split the land amongst the two groups living there. The Arab-Muslims and the Jews. Sounds fair, right? Each could have their own State, completely autonomous. Pretty good deal, wouldn’t you think? I think it was a good deal. The Jews thought it was a good deal. Do you know who didn’t think it was a good deal? The Arab-Muslims. Do you know why? Because they didn’t want the Jews to have anything. So the day after Israel became a nation, the Arabs attacked. 5 Arab nations attacked, in what would be known as the Arab-Israeli war. Do you know what else it became known as? The Nakba. Nakba for catastrophe. Because they lost. The Arab world says it’s because Arabs were displaced. But they chose to be displaced. Because they chose not to accept their own nation. They left. They ran away. Because they thought the Jews would lose and they'd be able to go back. The Arabs have been fighting ever since. At some point in time in the 1960s, the Arab-Muslims who were trying to claim Israel as theirs, started to refer to themselves as Palestinians. Land has been offered. A Palestinian state has been offered. All that the Palestinians had to do, was accept Israel’s right to exist. To stop attacking and trying to destroy them. Why don’t the Palestinians have their own State? Because they refuse to. They refuse to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. Muslim nations in this world, take up 29.13 million square km. Israel is 21,671 square km. Jews have 0.1% of the land that Muslims have. And according to the Radicalized Muslims, that’s too much. This isn’t about the land. This is about Radicalized Muslims not wanting Jews to exist.

So Gaza in 2025 had a population growth rate of 1.2% annually according to Hamas Ministry of Health numbers. So much so for a genocide. Those large accounts I follow screaming genocide. Are you big enough to read and repost this?
Gaza Ministry of Health has now released mortality numbers for 2025. For the first time since the war, they give numbers for all deaths, including natural deaths. In 2025 there were a total of 24,650 deaths in Gaza. 18,870 (76.6%) of these were violent, of which 17,286 (70.1%) were due to "war operations" and 1,584 (6.4%) were classified as accidents. There were a total of 5,780 (23.4%) non-violent deaths, including disease, old age, and all other causes. 5,780 deaths is about the same as the annual non-violent mortality in Gaza before the war, and the age distribution is similar to 2022. There is no significant excess of non-violent deaths. In other words, despite frequent and loud claims to the contrary, there seems to be very few indirect deaths due to the war in Gaza in 2025. As there were 50,227 births in 2025, this gives a natural population growth of 25,577 or 1.2% in Gaza in 2025, which is higher population growth than most countries in the world and more than the world average. There are currently ~6,000 births/month in Gaza, per GMH. Assuming a similar number of non-violent deaths in Gaza in 2026 as in 2025, that means there are currently 12x more births than deaths in Gaza, and that Gaza is now experiencing one of the highest population growths in the world.

Can you also see the five thousand Gazans who invaded Israel on October 7 to murder, burn, rape and kidnap? Can you also see the hundreds of kilometers of Hamas tunnels, dug underneath civilians, using them as human shields? Or perhaps how Hamas fighters brought Israeli hostages to Shifa hospital? Can you perhaps hear, in the memory of your ears, the chants of “Allahu Akbar”, as “ordinary Gazans” were ecstatic beyond control as they lynched wounded Israeli hostages dragged into Gaza? Can you for once in your entitled life understand that actions have consequences? You know what I can’t hear, and haven’t heard from Gaza? A call for peace with Israel, while accepting reality that the Jews live in their ancestral homeland.

Where are all the leftist selective humanists when they see this. Who would knowingly put a child in danger? Hamas is pure evil. Eradicating them has a cost. Not doing so a higher cost. Not a damn word from the left. Sickening. But not unexpected.
🎯 No one tries to use human shields against Russia or Iran or Hamas. It would be nonsensical, as they target civilians to begin with.
