I’ll be stepping away from the CDL for the foreseeable future.
As some of you know, I was very close to my casting partner Joe and his family. Maurisa was one of my best friends. We remained friends, after they divorced, and along the way it became more than that and we started dating.
I understand how unconventional/taboo it is. It’s truly not something I ever foresaw happening.
I hope that one day I’ll be back working on the CDL. If not, it was a hell of a ride, and I appreciate the love over the years. Please continue to show support to Joe, the CDL, and its talent!

Riot definitely knew what the response was going to be to this decision but wanted to test the backlash anyway.
At least they listen to feedback.
Also, if you’re one of the people scraping data to build bots, go get a real job and stop ruining things for everyone else
The announced changes to replays are being delayed to patch 26.21.
We are working on a solution to ensure the creators and coaches out there that rely on replays are not meaningfully impacted by this change and want to have that in place before this goes live.

Seems like a really heavy handed response to the mentioned problem. Why not just prohibit 3rd party tools instead of gutting an avenue for content completely?
Replays are becoming private in 26.20. As part of the game memory access changes, it will no longer be possible to download replays for games you have not played in, including via 3rd party sites.
