This is a complicated answer. On premise I agree. But this is the same philosophy that hospitals use now. They will raise their price on the chargemaster and give a bigger discount and call that a good deal.

BREAKING: American Airlines reportedly plans to expand Starlink to its entire Boeing fleet, including the 737, 777 and 787.
Its earlier announcement covered only 500+ Airbus aircraft, with installations starting in Q1 2027. American Airlines is yet to confirm this officially.
