Today, we did not send you an ordinary message of gratitude. Instead, we decided to write our gratitude on the walls of Gaza itself.
The young members of Project Mohammed painted your portrait on one of the walls still standing amid the destruction, because your voice has never been merely distant words to us. Here, your voice has become water for thirsty children, bread for hungry families, and meals for people exhausted by hunger.
The war may have destroyed the buildings around us, but it could never erase the gratitude in our hearts. We wanted your portrait to remain here, among the people you stood beside during the most difficult days of their lives.
When the children saw the mural, we told them: “This is William—a man who may be far away, but whose heart is very close to Gaza. His voice helped bring you water and bread.”
This is not simply a portrait on a shattered wall. It is a message from Gaza to you:
You did not witness our suffering and remain silent.
You helped the world see and hear us.
Because of you, our team has been able to give thousands of families a measure of hope and life.

Not only was Hasan Piker corrected after he had watched the entire video about Haley doing a one-handed salute (he was informed by a chatter that Haley, in fact, raised both hands, not just one), but while watching this objectively horrible video of Haley Stevens, he tried to remain as charitable as possible. Before finding out that she had raised both hands and even when he was speechless thinking she had done the worst, when asked by a chatter if Stevens' supporting Abdul was a good thing, Hasan tried to remain charitable and said yes because Haley Stevens supporting Abdul El-Sayed is good for overall party unity. You're being disingenuous. Tweet the full clip, or shut the fuck up.

Hasan Piker, on the Lovett It or Leave It show, talked about not having a publicist and about his contentious interview with Axios: "Clavicular's publicist got mad at me and was like, 'Hasan famously doesn't hire a publicist and that's why he's doing this stuff.' Look, I'm a big boy. I can handle contentious media interviews; it's just that there's still a coordinated effort behind the scenes to be like, 'We're going to clip this out [of context].' They went to Abdul El-Sayed BEFORE the video was released. I think they [Axios] leaked it to Status as well to be like, 'Oh, it was a contentious, fiery interview,' because immediately my phone blows up, they're asking me, 'Why was it contentious? Why did it get fiery?' And I was like, yeah. It was a contentious interview. It was the most contentious interview I've done so far."
