Reply to this tweet and tag your company, and our Producer, @buniebuns, will reach out. We typically have between 10,000-18,000 live viewers on our livestream, so that's a fantastic audience to speak to about what you're building.

I'm learning this political season that, long term, it might serve you better to be a big fish in a small pond than a small fish in a big pond. Because one day, the big fish in the big pond will need that small pond, and they'll have no choice other than to go via you.

At Transcorp, it's hard to miss the difference in pace and energy between the politicos and the business people. The former exhibit a languid pace devoid of urgency, whereas the latter are sprightly, operating in double time. We clearly need more biz people in politics.

Wealth without enterprise is really the bane of Nigerian society. Can't build a strong culture and develop a country when the tastemakers and decision makers are those that have never made a honest kobo in their lives.

A moving man meets his luck. Sat in Transcorp piano bar yesterday, randomly overhead an executive complaining about a service from a company we work with. Approached and helped troubleshoot the problem while also informing the company. Now we're in position to grow the account.

There's an unease some people elicit in you when you meet them. Pay attention to that gut feeling; it's often correctly warning you about the person.

Unlikely thanks to habituation, but I hope I never lose the wonder I have for the capabilities of AI. Blows my mind every single time.

A lot of Twitter discourse uses a one-size-fits-all approach when in reality there are often several ways to approach things. An example is in relationship conversations where people try to argue for their position, forgetting that attachment styles live on a spectrum and influence your approach to relationships in ways that are different to other people's.

With Claude as my EA. I find it useful to put more context in the email, not necessarily for the person i'm sending it to but for Claude to act upon. A foundation, for instance, might say, 'Let me know when your maternal numbers reach 100,000.' I stick that in the email response so Claude knows to alert me when we reach those numbers and then creates a draft update email to the foundation.

Thanks to Ebola, my upcoming business trips: Uganda - cancelled DRC - cancelled Rwanda - monitoring the situation Hopefully our leaders wake up to the economic effects of health outbreaks and deal with it decisively. The deaths seem not to be motivating enough.

Got some good DMs following this. Some hard truths to share, though, especially in this AI world. 1. The only barrier to building is you; if you haven't shared a demo in your message to me, you're not ready 2. If your message is so long-winded that I need AI to summarise it, you're not ready. 3. If you don't have users and not testing with real people, why are you wasting your time and my time? Lagos life has shown the template; just copy them. - Ship fast, - Get users early, - Test business models early, - iterate rapidly Your DM should be "Hi Neto here, engineer for 5 years, building AI note taking for doctors, Link here, have 5 users, paying me $10 per month." Finish!
I have renewed excitement to build again and support builders since taking the effort to get into Claude. AI will fundamentally change entrepreneurship. If you're building anything interesting that's AI-first, do reach out. Especially in health, talent and commerce.

Pains me when privileged Nigerian kids take the easy route. Bro, you had your life on easy, the least you could do is contribute to society so others get a leg up.
