10 years ago today we welcomed in our first cohort to @rgaventures - grateful for the wonderful teammates, founders, partners, corporate leaders, mentors, and investors I’ve had the joy of working with. Thank you for a decade of building together. And extra love to all of the past and present @rga global team who have worked on our creative capital projects.

F1 Built 28,000-Brick LEGO Karts: How 27.5K Fan Posts Exposed a Divided Grid At the 2026 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Formula 1 and the LEGO Group pulled off what looked like marketing gold: handing all 22 F1 drivers individual, drivable minicars constructed from 28,000 LEGO bricks. The viral chaos was instant. Drivers cutting corners, getting stranded in gravel traps, and bumping into each other at 25 km/h. However, behind the millions of views, public reaction split sharply. While Fernando Alonso’s surprise victory ignited pure fan euphoria, Max Verstappen sparked heated debate by calling driver obligations "clownish," and Lewis Hamilton raised pre-race safety concerns. To understand whether this activation was a resounding brand triumph or an operational PR liability, Tellagence Discover analyzed 27,500 public conversational records surrounding the event. I wanted to share something sweet with you this week and the power of sometimes just watching it play out across social. A TikTok Copyright War Went Viral. Fruity Pebbles Walked Away Clean. @Tellagence Discover audited 32,400 verified posts tracking the viral "Cakegate" dispute between two CakeTok creators. The headline finding: the copyright war split the internet, but it never touched the product - and the brand's own intervention is the reason the whole thing ended in Post's favor. Two creators, one recipe, one accusation of theft - and 32,400 posts later, the internet had picked a side, prosecuted a copyright case, and moved on. What's notable isn't the drama itself. It's what didn't happen: at no point did the backlash attach to Post Consumer Brands Fruity Pebbles. The cereal stayed exactly what it was before the fight started - a coveted ingredient everyone wanted to bake with, regardless of who they were rooting for. I know so many people have been following @FreddyLA7 travels and experiences in the US during the World Cup. We took a look - hope you enjoy it. Something strange is outperforming the World Cup's official sponsors: a guy filming himself at Buc-ee's. We tracked 157,900 records on FreddyLA7's viral journey and found that unscripted roadside hospitality is generating more cultural resonance than any corporate activation tied to the tournament. Official fan zones sit in the data's lowest-impact quadrant. Buc-ee's and Waffle House sit in the highest. tellagence.ai/pulse-feed/fre…

We recently took at look at the @HBO series @euphoriaHBO, not about the series finale, but a10-month analysis of 112,600 records on Euphoria female representation finds that Gen Z audiences have separated the show's bold aesthetic from its toxic narrative - and beauty brands still treating them as one thing are building campaigns on the wrong signal. Take a look at the case study below.

Everyone's calling the 2016 revival "nostalgia." Using our @Tellagence Discover platform we read 152,700 records across 11 platforms and learned that nostalgia isn't what's driving the 2016 throwback trend. What's actually happening? Gen Z is experiencing algorithm fatigue and over the maintenance work of "Clean Girl" minimalism. 2016 represents the last time getting ready was allowed to be fun instead of a performance. So they're not reminiscing. They're buying. Chokers, Adidas Superstars, matte lip kits for current use, right now. The brands treating this as a throwback campaign are going to miss what the audience is actually asking for. Full breakdown on our blog ↓

This is active re-adoption, not passive reminiscing. They are not buying 2016 they are buying the freedom it represented before the algorithm curated everything. Here is the study tellagence.ai/discover-pulse…

Wild co in Portland Oregon I just learned about. Heard about this idea a while back but didn’t realize how far they have come with generating energy from the ocean. You need to watch this. Love to see this happening here. youtu.be/Q7Pmgq2JKbI?si=z9Wb…
Loved chatting with @ashleevance about @_panthalassa's ocean energy platform and clean AI compute at sea

Amazing work @sorenwrenn and team. Love seeing this go live. It’s great to see your long held vision come to life. I can’t wait to see what amazing new art collaborations this brings for so many creators out there.
Most AI tools give everyone access to the same generic models. The result? Everything looks the same. We have a different vision for AI creation. Introducing TITLES, a new creative studio built around AI models trained and owned by artists. In Studio, you can create with distinct visual perspectives developed by artists, across image and video — all in one place. This is the future we're building toward: not one model for everyone, but a growing network of unique styles you can build with — where artists get credited and paid as the work spreads. Not sure how this makes me feel. Maybe we all need to talk to one another more. Via Sam Altman: “ChatGPT will say more words a day than all humans say, at some point, if we stay on our growth rate."
