When prices go up, the fees earned from liquidity provision can amplify your returns. When prices go down, the fees help offset the losses.

If you follow this industry and haven’t heard of @TychoOnnasch yet ... go fix that asap I'm watching him put on a master class demo of what top tier product launches look like in crypto. The growth and GTM speed by @ZestProtocol is remarkable Nobody in Bitcoin doing it better
Bitcoin Collateral Vaults demo is now on mainnet. Deposit native BTC into a self-custodial vault on Bitcoin L1. Borrow Ethereum USDC against it. The capital layer for Bitcoin.

I backed Zest Protocol because this team has been building on Bitcoin longer than almost anyone, and they know how to ship great products with amazing user experience. Seeing real Bitcoin collateral working on mainnet, with the coins never leaving Bitcoin, is something I’m incredibly excited about.

i already had an sBTC position on @bitflow now the same trading flow can earn BTC on top Stack Sats by @Stacks is live as well: > 3-month DeFi campaign > 1 BTC distributed each month > 3 BTC in total rewards Bitflow receives 1.5 BTC across the campaign, with 0.5 BTC per month allocated to activity on the sBTC/USDCx and STX/USDCx pairs i entered through The Daily Stack and the trading path is simple > make an eligible swap of at least $25 > no enrollment required > enter that day’s BTC reward since i already have a position, i’m using the recurring order feature to add more sBTC with USDCx over time i can choose the interval, split the allocation across several orders and set an optional price range instead of taking one entry tbh i like the incentives from real trading volume and liquidity around the core BTC and dollar pairs on Stacks i’ll track my execution and rewards throughout the first phase try it here if you will: app.bitflow.finance/stack-sa…

Stack Sats is probably one of the easier DeFi campaigns I’ll farm this month because I don’t need to overthink the position. @Stacks is putting up 3 BTC (~$230K) over 3 months for anyone to grab. @bitflow goes live today, with 0.5 BTC/month going toward activity on the sBTC/USDCx + STX/USDCx markets. I just put $100 into the sBTC/USDCx LP and let that liquidity compete for rewards + up to 449% APR. there’s a lower-effort route if LPing isn’t your thing. a single $25+ swap enters The Daily Stack, where 5 wallets win Bitcoin every day. the other 0.5 BTC/month goes through @ZestProtocol. > 0.25 BTC goes to sBTC suppliers on top of organic lending yield > 0.25 BTC goes to USDCx borrowers using sBTC/STX collateral I started with $100, so you don’t need whale size to participate.
Stack Sats on Stacks = giving out 1 BTC per month 👇 @bitflow incentives go live Sept 16. Pre register now with a wallet signature so you're earning from block one. Or swap $25 on Bitflow from Sept 16 to enter The Daily Stack, where five wallets win Bitcoin every day.

150ms can truly change the equation. so now it can put model decisions inside software paths that were previously too latency-sensitive for an LLM.

Bitcoin staking is becoming a real financial market, and I think ETF issuers will be a major driver. For the first time, ETF issuers like @21shares (@21sharesCM) have a way to access real Bitcoin-native yield while holding BTC. We’re also seeing @HashKey_Capital, @UTXOmgmt, and veteran DeFi players like @syphercapital bring institutional capital, asset management, and onchain finance together around Bitcoin, with direct impacts on blockstack:native. Bitcoin staking creates demand for STX and locks STX into the protocol. The latest cycle locked ~11.5M STX for 6 months, following ~20M additional STX locked in the prior cycle. Less free-floating blockstack:native is good for the ecosystem. Add in the improving STX/BTC ratio, and I think the market is beginning to recognize the value of making Bitcoin productive.

I would be more sympathetic towards Blockstream If they didn’t spend an entire decade shitting on the entire industry, calling their competitors scammers while appealing to an ivory tower engineering superiority that went poof the moment somebody cared enough to look at the code

A Bitcoin L2 called Liquid was just hacked and 3,998 BTC ($319.6M) was stolen However thankfully the hackers appear to be whitehats who may return the funds But I hope this and the Coldcard hack are wakeup calls for the Bitcoin ecosystem It's extremely embarrassing that the top Bitcoin "leaders" spent the past three years arguing over how to stop JPEGs rather than focusing on real problems like security The Bitcoin Maxi development approach where you're not allowed to build or experiment unless you're one of a select few "anointed" builders like Adam Back or Rodolfo Novak is not working Additionally the Lightning Network has been a failed experiment that has seen zero real adoption while consuming nearly a decade of Bitcoin development effort Bitcoin should be attracting the brightest minds to build and innovate here but instead the Bitcoin establishment has done everything in its power to keep that from happening There should be thousands of companies building and experimenting on top of Bitcoin so that through competition we harden our tech and the best products win Instead we have ideologically driven teams that struggle to build good UX and spend more time virtue signaling on podcasts than delivering products people actually want to use It's time to move on from this toxic approach to software development which has produced nothing of value and in many cases held Bitcoin back The entire "do nothing and we win" culture that has plagued Bitcoin needs to be thrown in the trash It's time to have a serious conversation about whether some of Bitcoin's establishment figures need to take a step back so Bitcoin can continue to move forward I will not sit idly by and let these people continue to slowly destroy Bitcoin Change is coming

I seriously doubt it's a coincidence that the Liquid bridge got drained just a couple days after Astra dropped. Looks like the Liquid functionary codebase hasn't been touched in 2 years, which isn't a good sign.
The accelerating pace of vulnerability discovery should be a wake up call for all software developers! The threat landscape has changed. If you wish to retain a strong defensive posture then you MUST adopt the same LLM tooling that attackers are using to find vunerabilities.
