It’s really unfortunate it HAS to come to something like this (in my opinion). Something as obvious as the First Amendment case here could’ve been dealt with ages ago…you don’t have to be a journalist to have eyeballs

The judge said it when we had our first hearing - “As a public official, you’re not always going to like everything the media is saying, but that comes with the territory. It comes with the job.”

Hopefully this case can be an easy reminder that we all have the First Amendment…and even if you don’t like the story - you don’t always get to decide if it’s news or not (especially if you’re a govt. official)
