out of my phd, i withdrew from interviews at great places to join @quadrillionlabs when it was an atom of an idea. dms open if you want to know what it's like to do research here!
in 2022 HRT was probably the best place to do research out of undergrad, and i remember debating when the average CS grad would do research at the level of a HRT quant (if ever). thanks to LLM agents that future is now. so far few understand the implications, but if 2022-me were on the 2026 job market i would tell her to join @quadrillionlabs (and you should too)

About the founder’s effort yes, but not the whole company
I'm torn internally when people take time off. Is this normal?
On the one hand, I want people to relax, enjoy time with their families and take a break. I genuinely want it.
On the other hand, it pains me so much when I know we could move faster. I don't understand how you can take time off knowing that a competitor is not.
In the end, I much prefer the latter rather than the former. I just struggle to admit it.
