Mexico, my country. 🇲🇽
This weekend was one of the most meaningful of my life. I reconnected with my land, my roots, my people, while building and closing business that represents progress.
My beloved Puerto Vallarta, a town full of life, culture, and warmth, was vibrant just hours ago.
By Sunday, everything flipped. Violence escalated. The city shut down.
Now I am a few hours away, stranded, with no clear path back to Barcelona for the moment.
I love Mexico deeply. What I cannot accept is the cycle of criminal power and failed leadership that keeps holding it hostage.
In a world of chaos, it is always the ordinary people who pay the price, while power games are played above their heads.
Mexico deserves security, rule of law, and the freedom to live and build without fear.
Mexico is a beautiful country full of hardworking, honest people. These events tell the world a distorted story. We are not defined by violence, nor by drugs, nor by headlines. We are defined by resilience, talent, culture, and dignity.
