You realise we all saw how an amendment specifically designed to remove the targeting of Jewish Green Party members for Synagogue attendance was rejected, right?
To Jewish members of the party:
The motion proposers made clear in the debate that they have no intention for Jewish members to feel targeted for their beliefs or associations. If anyone does try to use it in this way, I will be there for you with my solidarity and support.
Community note
Conference rejected an amendment (684-1026) barring use of the motion to discipline members for Zionist synagogue affiliation. Party spokespeople say Jewish members will not be targeted for attending them.
