ooooh that explains #Jaguar's decision to destroy its brand.
This is Santino Pietrosanti, Jaguar's Head of Brand Stategy. The dreadful rebrand is no longer a mystery.

Once Jaguar was on a wish list, but now I can possibly afford one, but no I won't support this or drive in something that represents it. Does he realise he's destroying the Jaguar image, and with it the car, and people's dream of owning one. But in reality, I probably gave it up ages ago when the decided to produce EVs.

It all makes sense now. I couldn't work out what this weird clothing/cosmetic brand called Jaguar was trying to sell. Of course, the truth was more fanciful than fiction.

What was the parent company Tata doing? Intentionally keeping a blind eye so Jaguar can be written off?🤔

They should have chatted with @harleydavidson first and ask how it turned out for them. 😬

There’s nothing about designing a great car in that dpeech! So, put a few gay, trans and slightly unbalanced people together and you get an iconic car like trans-forming the S Type! I wonder why no one’s tried that before. Like Elon, say.

Ideology instead of profit. Would love to be a fly on the wall at next years shareholders meeting.

Ha! Here I was thinking they were just trolling us for publicity and will come out all macho for the launch. Haven't they heard of Bud Lite or Gillette?

The Jaguar in-house marketing team watched the last BudLight advertisements and said, "Hold My Beer."

Nothing about the British, sporting, classic, quality heritage or history of the company its greatest assets. Nothing about the owners or their value to the company, just DEI & virtue signalling. Brand destruction is the thing of the day.

Every morning my husband takes his authentic self off to work, with his little John Boston lunch bag, in his Ford Mustang GT. Don't think his authentic self is anything like the Jaguar authentic self though. 😏 Wonder how much longer old Santino will have a job for?
