I'm speechless… this page was literally one-shotted by Opus 5.5 🤯 fableoflegends.com I pointed it at the game demo and asked it to “make the page look absolutely stunning and juicy” 😳 w/ no follow-ups! BTW, you can sponsor me to get access to the demo’s source code 😋

AI is enabling me to progress on the way too many side-projects I have... my MOBA demo is turning into a full mobile game, I'm going to use @defold for the mobile + web builds actual gameplay recordings coming soon 🙌
Fable of Legends is a MOBA I've been working on for a few weeks... (with Fable 😜) The game is playable at 200ms+ ping thanks to the client-side prediction tools I'm about to release on @colyseus 0.18 💜 Game assets from @KenneyNL and custom characters by @joaobaltieri 💙

⚡️ Happy to announce my side-project: netcode.io The objective here is to provide open-source, portable and performant primitives to ultimately serve networked traffic for realtime games and apps. It is still early but results have been promising so far!

does Jev understand colour? incredible model, very cheap and fast. definitely feels like a leap forward for creating new UX/UI paradigms on top of modern language models.

Took a few hours to run these WebGPU benchmarks, so I'm sharing FYI: 🥊 PlayCanvas 🥊 Three.js 🥊 Babylon.js - @playcanvas: the winner in performance - @threejs: smallest + quickest to first frame - Babylon.js: still good tech but 🥲 Full report 👉 endel.github.io/webgpu-webgl…

Funny enough: on the naive per-object path, WebGL beat WebGPU in every engine. three.js's classic WebGLRenderer does 5k meshes in 7.3 ms; its WebGPURenderer takes 29 ms. WebGPU only pays off once you instance: 50k meshes in 1–2 ms vs 4–7 ms on WebGL

I asked GPT 6 Astra to compose a piano melody and build a 3D pianist to play it and holy fuck, the fingers do follow the actual notes PLUS this ONLY took about 2h daybreak-piano-film.lexn8.ch…

thank you so much @claudeai for re-activating the OSS program for me - the last 6 months have been a game changer and @colyseus evolved tremendously in the latest version - I’ll keep improving it and hope to ship real games to put it all to the test! 💖

What a horror story. Indie dev pays €3k+ for a tiny booth, then has their personal equipment (computers, consoles, etc) stolen - and the organizers say: "not our problem 🤷‍♂️" Plus travel and accommodation in Germany. That’s outrageous.
We are aware of stolen hardware and take these reports very seriously and understand the frustration of affected exhibitors. Since many requests reached us, we would like to inform about general security regulations at the event: Uniformed guards provide general security across the venue. Individual stand security can be booked separately, and exhibitors are advised to insure equipment against theft. This is noted in the terms and conditions of participation and the technical guidelines. All cases have been reported to us and to the police, and investigations are already underway. We also want to ensure that the reported cases are individual cases, which we are very sorry to read. Because security has one of the highest priorities to us as an event and to see that indie developers are affected makes us very sad. At an event of this size, however, there will always be individuals attempting to take advantage of the situation. Our security measures are designed to minimize such risks as effectively as possible.
Community note
Multiple exhibitors reported equipment thefts overnight from different areas at Gamescom 2026, not just isolated incidents. Reports include Ryan Laley, iam8bit and Tessera Studios. videogameschronicle.com/news/its-heart… x.com/RyanLaley/stat…

We were robbed at Gamescom. On Wednesday, we arrived at our booth in the Indie Area to find our cabinet forced open. Two laptops and a Steam Deck were gone. The devices contained not only our Gamescom demo, but also personal, company, and critical information. Here’s our story

My #gamescom cut short. Our equipment was stolen last night from the booth. Police reports have been filed. At a loss for words to describe the feeling. Just defeated. Gonna do my best with what's left of the week. But a huge blow financially and mentally
