There are some types of events within Pixels that perfectly capture what makes this community so special to me. And Twix's Sugar Rush is definitely one of them! 😋✨🍬🍭 The mission seemed simple: find candies scattered across the world of Pixels and bring them to Twix 😊. But anyone who knows the community understands that when there’s a collective mission, the story is never that simple 😂🤣😌. The candies started appearing in the center of Terra Villa and continued all the way to the Carnival, where most of them were concentrated. And then the hunt began! 😎🥳 Everyone was searching, running back and forth, trying to figure out where the next candies were 😅. And there was one detail that made everything even more fun: we didn’t know exactly how many candies existed 🥹. And that’s exactly where the magic lies 🤩. 🍭You don’t know if you’ve found them all. 🍭You don’t know if there’s another one hidden 😋. 🍭You don’t know if someone has just discovered a new location. 🍬So you keep searching 😉. And in the middle of it all, the community does what it knows best: being together 🥰😍. Because, for me, that’s what these events are made of. It’s not just about completing a quest ✨😊... ✨It’s about meeting people along the way. ✨ the chaos. ✨ running without knowing exactly where to go. ✨sharing discoveries. ✨ It’s about that feeling of “maybe there’s one more over there?” 😂 ✨It’s about simply being in the game, living that moment with others. In the end, I managed to collect 170 candies and delivered them all to Twix. And the reward? A UCG of a wonderful pink tree ❤️! I must admit I loved the tree. But this time, it was almost just a bonus… Because what truly stayed with me was the experience of taking part in that hunt.😋🤩 It’s this kind of event that reminds me why I love Pixels so much!! 🙌🤩 When a game manages to create a situation where people aren’t just playing, but living something together, it creates much more than a mechanic. It creates stories and memorable experiences 😍🥰🙌. And maybe that’s one of the greatest strengths of a community: turning a simple mission into a collective memory✨. Pixels AMA recap 🧵 @pixels_online This AMA had a few big updates, but the biggest one is clear: Pixels is starting to bring community-built features directly into the main game. Here are the important takeaways 👇 -------------------------------------------------------- 🧩 Community-built features are coming to Pixels The first 5 open-source community upgrades have been merged into staging and are expected to go live in the next update. ⭐ Marketplace item favorites 🔎 Marketplace search 🗺️ Searchable bookmarked lands 🔐 Per-category land access 📖 Crafter's Memory More feature requests and bounties are also coming, giving the community a bigger role in building Pixels. -------------------------------------------------------- 🤖 AI + Realms The open-source tooling is also moving toward AI-assisted development. The idea is a Pixels agent that can help with the coding and technical side of building features in Realms. You'd still handle things like art and maps, but the barrier to creating your own experiences could become much lower. -------------------------------------------------------- 📱 Chubkins is moving toward global release Chubkins is being built as a Web2 game first, with rewards based around regional gift cards instead of crypto. The focus now is getting it out of early access, expanding iOS availability and opening up to more countries, while improving retention, subscriptions and monetization. -------------------------------------------------------- 💳 USDC is possible, but nothing is changing yet USDC could technically be used for Pixels payments, in-game purchases and staking rewards. The main question is whether that actually creates a better player experience. RORS is currently positive, so the decision isn't about simply needing to replace the existing system. -------------------------------------------------------- 🌐 More ecosystems are being explored There was no announcement of Pixels leaving Ronin. The broader direction is to avoid being locked to a single chain forever, while exploring other ecosystems and possible crypto-native experiments. -------------------------------------------------------- 🧱 Stacked could evolve A possible direction discussed was turning Stacked into a task-based launchpad where users could earn through completing tasks instead of simply putting capital at risk. Nothing is confirmed here, so this is more of an idea being explored than an announcement. -------------------------------------------------------- 🎯 Bountifall restart may take a little longer Bountifall has ended and the restart could take roughly another week. The main issue is making sure the reward distribution process is handled properly before restarting. -------------------------------------------------------- 🪙 Buoy Bucks still have an inflation problem The current supply issue needs a much bigger systemic fix, so that won't be solved quickly. A smaller store update could happen in the meantime, potentially adding more raffle-style options while the larger issue is worked on. -------------------------------------------------------- 🛠️ A few smaller game updates Bottles now give 25 Business XP instead of Farming XP. Shader and Highlight Slabs are also back in the decor store. Overall, the biggest takeaway from this AMA is the open-source push. Community ideas are turning into actual features inside Pixels, and more bounties are opening the door for players and developers to help build the game.
