think about it, millions of small captures from people's phones. if every one cost a few dollars in fees the whole thing dies
on @base it's cheap, pay goes out in usdc with no bridge, and a normal person with a phone can join without knowing crypto
phones for data and base for money, pretty smart combo

realized something cool while checking out @vangrid_io today.
on vangrid, raw data means nothing by itself. it needs proof: time, location, and other nodes checking it. otherwise it comes back with a low confidence score.
then i looked at @NucleusCodes. they do the exact same thing, but with people.
a big following alone doesn't get you far. they look at your real history: what you did onchain, how consistent you've been over time, and the quality of the network around you.
both are asking the same question: in a world full of fake noise, how do you find what is real?
vangrid does it for data. nucleus does it for people.
it makes total sense. a project about real data shouldn't reward fake accounts made yesterday. it should reward people with a real track record.
funny thing is, by writing this, we're doing the same thing: one post is just talk. a real history is proof.
