The prediction market landscape is changing FAST.
Recently, I met another legendary trader/developer who has been trading on Polymarket for a long time.
Funny enough, he was using almost the same strategy and infrastructure as me.
We spent hours talking, comparing systems, sharing experiences, failures, and lessons you normally don't learn from Twitter.
That conversation made me realize how early this industry still is.
Polymarket was only one chapter.
Now we're seeing Robinhood push prediction markets further into mainstream finance, while new platforms and infrastructure are appearing across crypto and onchain markets.
Hyperliquid. Arc.
Trade.xyz.
World.xyz Kalshi. And many more.
The game is expanding. 🌎
And I'm adapting with it.
I'm already moving some of my strategies to other platforms and building bots for them.
I started testing one with an old client, and interestingly, an old Polymarket strategy is already working well there.
Soon, I'll be testing on more platforms. 🧪
But lately, I've been thinking about something bigger.
For years, I've been a bot developer / bot maker.
And honestly?
It wasn't an easy journey.
Hundreds of failed ideas.
Strategies that looked perfect but failed live.
Money lost. 💸
Systems rebuilt from zero.
Sometimes clients got frustrated.
Months of work with nothing to show.
A lot of pain before finally finding things that worked.
That pressure is something you don't really understand until you've experienced it.
But those failures taught me a lot.
Now I don't just want to build bots that trade prediction markets.
I'm starting to think about building the prediction markets themselves.
Instead of always being the trader...
Be the maker. 🏗️
- Build the markets where traders come to play.
- Build the infrastructure.
- Build the tools.
- Build something other traders can build on.
- Maybe the next chapter isn't:
"How do I build a better trading bot?"
Maybe it's:
"What kind of prediction market can I build for the next generation of traders?"
Still thinking. 🤔
Still building. 🛠️
Still testing. 🧪
But I have a feeling this is where things get really interesting. 🫡🫡🫡
