the animation of him shooting from the hip reminds me of something:
back in boot-camp in the shooting range, my Heckler & Koch G3 jammed. when that happens we're instructed to, while still aiming down sights, engage the safety mode, raise your hand to call sergeant/ officer, then lower the gun to your hip always facing forward.
under their supervision, you take the magazine out, check the chamber, and clear the obstruction then put everything back in place.
the person who came to supervise the procedure was the scariest woman in the company: she was the commander of the company, a Lieutenant.
when I cleared the obstruction she told me to fire a test shot, so my dumbass disengaged the safety and shot from the fucking hip rambo style.
the stare she gave me sent chills down my spine, bro. a million thoughts of me getting punished for the rest of the day flashed through my mind. y'all don't understand. i thought i was FUCKED!
incredibly surprisingly though, she let me off with a verbal warning. she must've been in a really good mood. the scariest people i met during my time serving in the portuguese army were all women, and i met some insane men!

In GTA San Andreas, Weapon Skills aren't just stat changes. They also visually change how CJ handles weapons from a more beginner technique evolving into an experienced technique at higher levels.
