i rebuilt everything from 0
then in december 2021, i lost another $35k+, including a large dydx-chain:native airdrop.
after losing more than $50k, i stopped asking:
what should i buy ?
and started asking:
if one thing goes wrong, how much can i lose ?
that question changed how i store my crypto.

today, i split my funds across 5 separate iPhones and 5 separate wallets.
for every wallet:
- i use a phone that only i control
- download the wallet from its official source
- create a completely new wallet
- write the recovery phrase down offline
- keep multiple physical copies in separate safe places
no screenshots.
no Notes app.
no iCloud backup.
every wallet has a different recovery phrase.

before moving a large amount, i check the address carefully and send a small test transaction first.
when i buy crypto on exchange, i withdraw anything i plan to hold long term.
my savings wallets never touch random mints, airdrops, or connect wallet to check links.
i keep a separate daily wallet for spending and testing new things.
hardware wallets can help too
but no device can protect you if you share your recovery phrase or approve a dangerous transaction.

they aren’t
polymarket US regulated US product, operated through QCX LLC and regulated by the CFTC.
user experience also built much more like a normal financial app:
- account-based access
- phone/email onboarding
- a regulated us trading environment
polymarket global different story
that’s the crypto-native side:
- wallets
- polygon
- onchain settlement
- smart-contract infrastructure
so when someone says:

that jump doesn’t really work.

polymarket does not have officially launched token yet.
the otc listing says:
- asset: polymarket
- instrument: equity + token
- size: $5m+
the "token" here is most likely referring to rights/warrants connected to a future polymarket token, not an already-existing solana:6BKfv2FTxR4CbFaCSPd4pLJi2ijrGcUs7PYM1f76pump token being traded.
think of it like this:
- you're not buying the token today.
- you're buying a contractual right tied to the future token.
and honestly, that's what makes this interesting.
if these token-linked rights already being included in private $5m+ otc transactions, it suggests possibility of a future token isn't just random ct speculation anymore.
no official tge, no publicly tradable token yet
but token-related rights appearing in private deals is a pretty damn strong signal that something may already be happening behind the scenes.
