"Even voters who know little about Palestine will struggle to understand why Labour is turning on its own local administrations. The impression it creates is not of a party that’s been renewed as a force for ‘hope’, but of one that remains petty, vindictive and self-serving."
The Labour Party’s refusal to work with the Greens unless they renounce anti-Zionism exposes the hollowness of the Burnham project. tribunemag.co.uk/2026/10/bur…

Cooper: "We did not get involved in any of the offensive action on Iran" US planes were taking off from British bases to bomb Iran & Keir Starmer boasted that within 2hrs of the war starting RAF pilots were shooting down Iranian missiles. Does that sound like not being involved?

Jo Coburn says that 'zionism is racism' is antisemitic and zionism is simply the right of Jews to self determination. If self-determination requires the dispossession & displacement of another people its not self determination, its ethnic cleansing & colonisation.

I am so sick of this constant loyalty test crap every single election cycle, it’s just a dog whistle to rile up the base because they have zero actual solutions for real world problems

Here's a view. We are only going through that crisis because you, your Party and a fair portion of the media are ramming it down our throats pretty much 24/7. You're ramping up the hatred and division every opportunity you get, even when there isn't an opportunity you still do it. Most normal people just want things to be calm but that won't get you elected.

Seems @Alexarmstrong posted this at 1am to avoid anyone seeing it. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen. Hold @GBNEWS to account.
On 19 July 2024, I published two posts on my X account in which I made allegations about Mr Mothin Ali being involved in the Harehills riots. I have accepted these were incorrect and I have jointly made a statement in open Court in order to apologise to Mr Ali and correct the record which is below. archive.org/details/JSIOC-MA…

Louise Haigh to a govt minister last year: "It is impossible to conclude that this is anything less than a genocide" Haigh is now a senior cabinet minister & the govt continues arming what she called the genocidal Israeli regime. What price principles, eh?

Banks are pocketing billions in extra profits from the same interest rate hikes hammering households. I'm presenting a petition in Parliament ahead of the Budget for a windfall tax on banks to fund cost-of-living action. Over 10,000 have signed. Sign 👇 c.org/b2fyXDswpJ

After the crippling 2008 public bank bailouts - you’d think the banking lobby would choose its arguments more carefully. If banks warn that taxing their profits means less lending, that strengthens the case for a more diverse banking sector. Build on our mutuals. Create local savings banks modelled on Germany’s Sparkassen, alongside publicly owned national and regional investment banks. Give businesses more places to turn. We grant commercial banks the extraordinary power to create money through lending. That should come with responsibilities. So, perhaps sit this one out and take the hit - because you still owe us many times over.

Coventry City Council’s decision to renew its £750,000 children’s services contract with Palantir is the wrong choice. Palantir has carried out a deliberate strategy of embedding itself deeper and deeper into our public services. Its goal to make us totally dependent on them, so they can help themselves to our most valuable data. But as the Mayor of London has shown, local authorities can say no. Coventry Council should follow his lead. That’s why I’ve signed @zarahsultana’s motion urging them to cancel the contract.

Tories call for 5-year freeze on minimum wage to tackle youth unemployment. So, how will workers in retail, hospitality pay rent, energy, water, food bills? Impact on health, NHS? Silence on corporate welfare, soaring exec pay, dividends, share buybacks. theguardian.com/society/2026…

I spoke about a windfall bank tax in my newspaper columns this week. My thoughts are that the big banks have been bailed out numerous times by taxpayers, & now they are back making huge profits; it's time for them to repay the debt to taxpayers, as winter approaches and help is needed with energy bills.

The Welfare Party would rather take money from pensioners than the millions of working-age people sat at home on benefits. Forget looking out for taxpayers or the pensioners who've paid in. For them, Benefits Street always comes first.

Not political… just a thought. Elon Musk donated roughly $366 million this cycle to midterm candidates & groups. What if that kind of money went into #ChildhoodCancer research, brain tumors, veterans in need, food insecurity, or mental health instead? Imagine the impact.
