I cannot imagine being single right now. Modern gender dynamics are absolutely cooked. People have legitimate reasons to be frustrated, but those frustrations have turned into entire belief systems about men and women. Now you’re sitting across from someone trying to answer for people you’ve never met… aka ex’s, situationships, etc.. no one is actually single single Forget getting married. How do you even get through a first date when both people show up expecting the worst? If I were single again, I’d go do what I already enjoy. Gym, bars, sports, shows, whatever. Give myself a chance to meet someone through a shared interest before we start interviewing each other. Your person is probably somewhere you’d actually enjoy being… most likely not on an app (but maybe here)

Only twice, that I can recall, have I lost Instagram followers over a video. The first was when I said Lindsay Clancy was guilty of murdering her three children. The second was today, when I said, walking already drunk into a frat party, drinking more and voluntarily doing drugs, then saying yes to group sex makes you a willing participant in a very bad situation and assumes many risks you may later regret, and publicly accusing young men of rape two years after you told a very different story is a very serious thing. In both cases, I had (and have) an avalanche of women up in my comments telling me I don’t understand, I’m disgusting, I haven’t read the facts, I’m betraying the sisterhood, etc. Look, I’m surely not right about everything. There are things I miss, takes that weren’t entirely thought through, even positions I solidly stand on but that others don’t agree with for understandable reasons. But I will say, the rabid wolf pack response of these women when you disagree with them is…really something to behold.

If we're serious about preventing Cornell 7 situations, we would have honest conversations about not only consent, but intoxication. Just because sober you would never consent to certain things doesn't mean drunk/high you wouldn't. And waking up thinking, "NO WAY did I say yes to that, so I must have been coerced!" might make sense to sober you, but it doesn't mean drunk/high you didn't consent at the time. And there's no way of anyone knowing for sure if everyone else was drunk and high, too. So maybe just don't get drunk. Don't get high. Don't party intoxicated with intoxicated strangers. Then you're much less likely to say "yes" to things you shouldn't, or God forbid, find yourself helpless if someone doesn't take "no" for an answer. But no one wants to have that conversation because it's "judgy," and it's just easier to HashtagBelieveWomen and immediately assume male guilt instead.

It's just strange to me how white American accused of rape receive more vitriol from the left than third-world immigrants actually convicted of rape.
